I rip open the packaging, put this iRenew Sport Bracelet on and in a matter of minutes I get a very bad migraine headache. This headache lasted for approximately 5 days on and off, as everyone knows if your healthy, is that this headache was caused because the technology was de-toxin my body. So the first healthy thing that came out of wearing the iRenew Sport Bracelet was it made me drink more water than normal. Everyone knows you have to drink a gallon of water everyday for cleansing out your body, but sometimes you just cant force an entire gallon down the throat.

So the next thing I wanted to try was the balance, flexibility tests the following week. This is a crock of sh*&, the first time the test is done your not ready for it, place the iRenew Sport Bracelet on and your ready for the tests. This segment of the test did not fly with me. My opinion is that is a great marketing hocus-pocus pitch. Great for the people who watch TV and believe everything they see! I am not that guy….

So a few days later its my outside training day and figure the way I push myself to failure this would be a great day to really achieve my true test for the iRenew Sport Bracelet. I start my workout with a 2.5 mile run to a local park without the iRenew Sport Bracelet for the endurance test. I timed the run, than I started my strength portion of my routine segment. I started my pull ups with out the iRenew Sport Bracelet and achieved 47 reps. This is around my average in one set normally, give or take 1 or 2 rep counts. So I stretched for approximately 15 minutes than I placed this iRenew Sport Bracelet on my wrist and wanted to see if I can beat the first set. Lets see if this works, so I started my first rep feeling a little stronger than normal, I was astonished that the outcome from iRenew Sport Bracelet. I finished with a whopping 68 reps. I have never been able to achieve this many reps in years and considering this was my second set, the number should have been lower than my original started set with a result of 47 reps. So my next iRenew Sport test with out the sport bracelet was pushups, I drop down and finish with my last rep at an exhausting 82, which I physically could not do one more push up for a million dollars. So I take my 10-15 minute stretching break, drink some water and drop down to the ground with the iRenew Sport Bracelet and started my first push up. 10 reps in felling strong, 30 reps felling good, good form and still strong (good form means to me down on 4 second count and up on a 2 second count) 60 reps still feeling strong and I am not yet done. I finally reach 82 reps and pass this number wearing this Sport Bracelet. My final count was at 96 reps. So both tests for me I pushed my body to the extreme maximum and achieved more wearing the iRenew Sport Bracelet than not wearing this bracelet. I stretch and start my sit up segment without wearing the iRenew Sport Bracelet and completed to failure 317 reps non stop, with the iRenew Sport Bracelet I was able to achieve the same results as my previous 2 tests with a total of 423 reps non stop. So I kept on the iRenew Sport Bracelet and ran 2.5 miles home timing myself. I beat my time running home by over 1 minute.

So do I think, if the new iRenew Sport Bracelet is a scam or does not work?

Well if someone wants me to be the judge on this, does the iRenew Sport Bracelet really work or is it a scam? I will answer with 100% confidence that this iRenew rubber band bracelet works! Is the National Academy of Sports Medicine a worthwhile personal training certification?

Im looking to become a certified personal trainer. Im in the gym 3-4 days a week anyway so i figured why not get payed for what im interested in. I dont have a degree because, well, i never finished school. NASM seems the be the the most common cert i see trainers have at the lifestyles i go to. But ive recently been had by a so called”academy” visual arts school which was actually a scam and not respected in any form. I dont want to do that again.

Also does anyone have any insight into the income potential of a personal trainer? A good one, not the ones that work for 7 bucks an hour at local gyms.

Yes, NASM is certainly a worthwhile certification. I have both NASM and ISSA, and from personal experience, NASM seems to be more respected because most gyms know it’s relatively difficult to attain (the exam is long and involved, but the information is useful and highly applicable). Just the discussion of exercise progressions alone is worth the price of admission. Highly recommended.

The income potential of a personal trainer — well, that’s entirely up to you. Think about it — personal trainers earn roughly $25 per hour and up (depends on if you have your own business independent of a gym, or if you work with a gym, in which case you split the earnings). If you work on your own (without a gym), you also then have to think about insurance.

In any case, you figure that if you earn a certain hourly rate, then you have to calculate how many clients you will need and how often you will need to see them. So, if you make like $30 and hour, and you have 10 clients who you see twice a week, that means $600. The whole trick is getting the right number of clients and the right number of sessions, then KEEPING that going. Of course, some clients will leave and then you’ll have to get other clients to fill the gap so you keep your income steady.

Not always possible, and sometimes you’ll earn less, sometimes more. Again, it all depends on how well you can develop your business. Being successful as a personal trainer doesn’t just come from knowledge — though THAT is a big part. Equally important is how good you are at building a business, how good you are at selling training, and how successful you are at distinguishing yourself from all the other trainers. You also really have to love what you do because clients will feel that.
